Three drug peddlers held in Sopore
Sopore: Three more notorious drug peddlers were arrested in Sopore north Kashmir on Thursday, police said.
A police spokesman said that during checking at Warpora Sopore police arrested three notorious drug paddlers who were identified as Waseem Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Rasool War, Umer Mushtaq War son of Mushtaq Ahmad War both residents of Warpora Sopore and Aatir Mushtaq Mir son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Janwara Sopore. He said that various psychotropic drugs were recovered from the trio.
They were selling the drugs among the youth of Warpora and adjoining areas, the spokesman added.
He said that a case FIR No. 232/2020 U/S 8/22,29 NDPS Act was registered and further investigation were set into motion.
