Police arrests ‘fraudster’ in Rafiabad
Sopore: Police on Wednesday said that they have arrested a fraudster who was involved in duping a goldsmith in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad village.
A police official said that on 22 August, policereceived a complaint from Sameer Ahmad Pinjoo running a goldsmith shop at Dangiwacha market, complaining that a person identified as Dr. Bilal Ahmad Lone S/O Mohammad Akbar Lone R/O Marathgown Handwara took Gold items worth around Rs 03 Lakhs 85 thousands by fraudulent means.
Police said that they acted swiftly and arrested the accused within 48 hrs. During the course of investigation, the involved accused fraudulent person was arrested and gold worth Rs 03 Lakhs 85 thousands were also recovered from him.
