Grenade recovered, defused in Kreeri village
Srinagar, Aug 25: A hand grenade was recovered and later safely defused by police and army at Parray Mohalla Suchipora, Kreeri in Baramulla district where a fierce encounter between militants and a joint team of government forces had taken place last week.
Official sources said that the grenade was spotted by the joint team of forces during a search operation at the encounter site on Tuesday.
The device, they said, was later defused without any harm to life or property. (GNS)
