Police official dies of cardiac arrest in Kangan

GANDERBAL, August 24: A Jammu and Kashmir police official on Monday morning died due to cardiac arrest in police Station Gund of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district , an official said.
He identified the slain as Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Abdul Gani Naikoo (belt number 46/Spn) son of Late Ghulam Rasool Naikoo resident of Kanilwan Bijbehara.
“The deceased after complaining pain in chest, fainted and was immediately shifted to PHC Gund,” the official said adding that he was referred to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him as brought dead.
