Marriages during pandemic: 42 people from a family test positive for Covid-19
Srinagar: 42 people belonging to the same family tested positive for Covid-19 in Srinagar on Wednesday, health officials said.
They said that the family living in Rangepora Buchpora had organized a marriage function at their home on 17th of August.
Reports said that the bridegroom and the bride are among the 42 people who have tested positive for Covid-19.
The family had organized a marriage function on 17th of August and many of the guests including the bride and the bridegroom had developed Covid symptoms, sources said.
Officials said that samples of the people who had attended the marriage were taken and 42 returned positive for Covid-19 infections on Wednesday.
