Covid-19: Fresh restrictions in Ganderbal district for next two days

GANDERBAL: SSP Ganderbal on Friday evening informed that there shall be complete restrictions in district Ganderbal owing to spurt in Covid-19 cases.
In a tweet SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Ahmad Poswal said that ‘no gathering shall be allowed and the business establishments shall remain closed’.
“In view of rapid spread of Covid-19, there shall be restrictions on 22nd & 23rd of August,2020 in District Ganderbal. No gathering shall be allowed and the business establishments shall remain closed. Please cooperate and abide by SOP for your safety,” SSP tweeted.
Pertinently, 16 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported from the district on Friday. With these the total number of active positive cases from total number of 1110 cases rose to 543 with 535 recoveries and 14 deaths.
