Kreeri attack: Two CRPF personnel succumb, toll reaches 03
Srinagar, August 17: Two CRPF personnel succumbed to their injuries after they were injured during a shootout in Kreeri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla on Monday morning.
A senior police officer said that one SPO and two CRPF were killed during exchange of firing with militants at Naka in Kreeri.
Till this report was being filed more reinforcements were brought to the area to the nab the attackers.
Earlier during the exchange of fire one SPO identified as Muzaffar Ahmad was killed and two CRPF troopers were injured and subsequently shifted to nearby hospital, the officer said.
The officer further said that there are chances of encounter as the militants have been surrounded by forces. (GNS)
