Minor drowns in a stream, dies
Sopore: A four year old boy drowned in a nallah flowing near his house in Sopore village of Baramulla district in north Kashmir on Friday evening.
Reports said a minor drowned in a nallah while taking bath at Panzipora area of Tarzoo Sopore.
They said that soon after the boy drowned locals present nearby rushed to the spot and retrieved the body but couldn’t save him.
Reports said he was rushed to SDH Sopore also, however, doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Faizan Ahmad lone (4) son of Hamidullah Lone resident of Panzipora Tarzoo Sopore.
A police officer also confirmed the incident saying that a case has been registered and further investigation taken up.
