Amid rains forces start search operation in Sopore village
Sopore: Forces on Tuesday launched a search and cordon operation in Bomai area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, SOG of JK police and CRPF cordoned off Bomai area of Sopore and conducted house to house searches there. Reports added that all entry and exit points in the area were sealed by the forces.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer also confirmed and said that following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area the search operation was launched.
However, the cordon ended peacefully.
