Minor boy drowns in Pattan village
Sopore: A minor boy drowned in a stream in Sukhnag area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
An official said that a 12-year-old boy drowned in a stream when he was bathing with other fellows in Sukhnag locality of Singpora in Pattan.
He said that locals present there retrieved his body and rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Irfan Ali Dar son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Trehgam, Malikpora area of Sumbal.
He also said that a case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up in this regard. (KNO)
