Pulwama: A youth in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district has reportedly joined militant ranks while his parents have been making fervent appeals for his return home.

Mehrajuddin Lone alias Bitta Molvi son of Bashir Ahmad Lone from Arigam village went for a picnic with his friends on July 04, as per his parents. However, the youth didn’t return home.

The parents of the youth are making consistent appeals for the young boy’s return.

In a purported video, doing rounds on social media, his family members made emotional pleas and asked Mehrajuddin to return home.

“We have no phone contact with him after he left home for picnic. We are very depressed and want our son back as soon as possible,” his mother is seen pleading his son with tearful eyes.

His father, while breaking down in tears, said, “I just want my son back. I ask him to come home.”

Pertinently, last week, a teenager from Drabgam village also went missing. (KNT)
