Infiltration bid foiled in Handwara, two militants killed
Srinagar, July 11: Two militants were killed at the LoC in TMG sector of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Saturday.
Official sources said that, militants while trying to sneak into this part of LoC were challenged, however they fired upon the Army triggering an exchange of fire.
“During the fire fight two militants were killed,” they said.
Meanwhile, searches in the area were still going on as this report was being filed. More details will follow.(GNS)
