LeT OGW held in Sopore
Sopore: Government forces on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a LeT militant associate with incriminating material including ammunition, a police official said.
He said that police on Monday evening alongwith men from the 52 RR & 177 Bn CRPF laid a joint Naka at Sangrama junction.
During routine frisking one LeT militant associate identified as Sajad Ahmad Khan S/O Anaytullah Khan of Dachi Uri Baramulla was held.
He said that incriminating materials including AK ammunitions was recovered from his possession.
Regarding the incident an FIR No. 62/2020 under relevant section of law was registered in Police Station Tarzoo Sopore and further investigation have been taken up, the official;l added.
