Srinagar, July 07: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Tuesday decided to re-open all the public parks and gardens across the Union Territory.

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan said that all the public parks and gardens shall re-open from tomorrow.

“We have decided to re-open all the parks and gardens across Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

He also said that wearing masks has been made mandatory for those wishing to go to public parks.

Pertinently, the parks and gardens were closed for general public in March this year in wake of COVID-19 outbreak in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed over 130 lives and infected nearly 9,000 people so far. (KNO)
