Teacher dies in road mishap
Baramulla: A teacher was killed when a car he was driving met with an accident in Uri in this north Kashmir on Thursday, official sources said.
They said a 42-year-old teacher identified as Zulfiqar Ali Khawaja was critically wounded when a car he was driving skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Garkote, Uri, on Thursday.
Zulfiqar, nephew of former minister and senior National Conference (NC) leader Mohammad Shafi Uri, was declared brought dead by doctors at hospital.
Police has registered a case, they said.
