Five shops sealed in Sopore for violating lockdown SOPs

Sopore: Five shops were sealed in various areas of Sopore for violating SOPs amid the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, officials said Wednesday.
They said that Municipal council squad under the supervision of Imtiyaz Ahmad Pandit Food Inspector and Rahi Mohiudin, tax collector raided various markets in Sopore after they noticed that some shops are violating the lockdown SOPs.
During the raid the officials sealed five such shops violating the SOP guidelines, officials added.
They said that many shopkeepers in this north Kashmir town are not following the SOPs and traders have already given assurance to administration that they will follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) and guidelines during the unlock period.
The officials requested the trade fraternity to implement and follow SOP’s for helping contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
