LoC shelling: Soldier killed, two others injured in fresh flare-up
Poonch, June 14: An army soldier was killed and two others were injured during gunfire at Kerni sector along the LoC in Poonch district, officials said on Sunday.
A police official said that during the shelling in Kerni sector, one army soldier, identified as Sepoy Luingambui Abonmei of 10 Asam regiment, was killed and two others, Lelienkothein Senghon and Tangsoik Kwianiungar, were injured.
Both the injured have been airlifted to Udhampur command hospital for advanced treatment, the official added. (GNS)
