Srinagar man dies of Covid-infection in Rainawari hospital, death toll reaches 40
Srinagar, June 6: An elderly man from Srinagar uptown died due to Covid-19 infection at Rainawari Hospital Srinagar this evening.
Sources said that the elderly man from Baghat Barzulla was admitted in the hospital after developing Covid-19 infection. This evening he breathed his last, they added.
Family members alleged that the patient died due to lack of Oxygen. They said no doctor was available at the time of death of the patient.
A doctor refuted this charge saying that the elderly patient was critical, suffering from multiple ailments.
This was the 4th Covid-19 death in Jammu and Kashmir today. Two deaths were reported from Valley and one from Jammu.
With this latest death the tally reached 40. Kashmir has witnessed 36 deaths so far while 4 deaths occurred in Jammu. (KNT)
