Central, Divisional offices of AACL locked, employees quarantined

Srinagar: The Central and Divisional offices of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Department here in Kashmir Valley were locked on Friday after a woman employee tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
All the employees working in Central and Divisional offices have been directed to go for home quarantine for a period of 14 days, after the lady employee who is a Senior Assistant informed the superiors that she along with her husband has tested positive.
Sources said that the lady employee was in touch with infected Head of Department Chest Disease Hospital and renowned Pulmonologist Dr Naveed Nazir. The said employee is also the relative of Dr Naveed.
Sources said that the Central and Divisional offices of Department of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages have been locked and no employee attended the office.
Meanwhile, sources said that Housing Colony Sanat Nagar here in Srinagar outskirts is likely to be declared a Red Zone after a positive case of Coronavirus was reported from the area. (KNT)
