Police recovers minor girl, kidnapper arrested
Srinagar: Police today claimed to have recovered a minor girl and also arrested her kidnapper within 4hrs in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
A police spokesman said that a complaint was filed that a minor girl (name with held) has been kidnapped by one Mohammad Amin Ganie son of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Dassan.
Acting upon the complaint, case FIR No 131/2020 was registered and investigation set into motion, the spokesman said.
He said that acting on the specific leads the girl was recovered within 04 hrs after registration of case and the accused was arrested.
