Srinagar, May 23: A woman in Srinagar outskirts set herself on fire on Saturday.
The incident occurred at Telbal, Hazratbal area of Srinagar outskirts, police sources said.
They said that the woman (name withheld) wife of Sajad Ahmed Wani sprinkled kerosene on her body and set herself on fire. She suffered grievous burn injuries and died in the hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of the case and set investigation into motion. (KNT)
