COVID-19 claims another victim in Kashmir, 55-year-old man dies at SKIMS
Srinagar, May 19: A day after Jammu and Kashmir recorded three Covid-19 deaths in a single day, a 55-year-old COVID-19 positive with Cancer history, died at Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical (SKIMS) Soura on Tuesday morning.
With the fresh fatality the total number of Covid-19 deaths in J&K have reached 17, of which 15 are from Kashmir and two from Jammu region.
Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura Dr Farooq Jan said that a 55‐year-old, COVID-19 positive patient from Rafiabad, died of a cardiac arrest. He said the patient was admitted in the hospital for some time now.
Yesterday, J&K recorded three Covid-19 deaths, all from South Kashmir that included two elderly men and a woman with comorbid conditions. (KNO)
