Pulwama: The police man who was killed by suspected militants in Frisal area of Kulgam district on Saturday evening has left a grieving family behind.
Mohammed Amin Bajad Son of Fazil udin Bajad resident of Sangervani Pulwama was shot by suspected militants at Frisal and was shifted to hospital in critical condition where he was declared as brought dead.
He was laid to rest at his native village on Sunday evening where very few persons took part in his funeral prayers due to covid-19 restrictions.
The Head constable hailing from the upper belt of Pulwama district has left behind 9 family members.
Javid Ahmad Bajad, cousin of Amin said that he has left behind 6 daughters, 2 sons and wife.
He further added that family has no source of income as most of his children are minors.
“Now who will take care of his family especially his six unmarried daughters? What did those who killed him achieve by murdering him,” he said.
“He had arrived at his home on Friday night and he was at his home. He left early Saturday morning for duty and on same evening he was killed,” he said adding that little did they know that this was his last visit to the family.
The locals along with the family members have now appealed the government to take care of his family.
They said that he was a good human being besides a pious and devoted Muslim.
