Anantnag: A bear who appeared in a village in Anantnag area of south Kashmir climbed on an electric pole and got electrocuted on Saturday.
The incident occurred at Batagund village of Dooru Ananatnag.
Official sources said that a bear was electrocuted and died on spot in Batagund village. Locals informed the wild life officials who later took possession of the carcass. (KNT)
