Police in Srinagar provides survival kits to needy
Srinagar: Srinagar police has provided 650 survival kits to the needy families in various parts of Srinagar.
The kits were provided to the families who have been rendered jobless owing to the ongoing lockdown that has been put in place following the Covid-19 pandemic.
A police official said that the kits containing essential commodities have been managed by personal contributions and so far around 650 such kits were provided to those who were in need.
He said that more kits will be provided to families which deserve to be helped during this hour of crisis.
The initiative was started under the guidance of SSP Srinagar, Dr Haseeb Mughal, the official said.
Dr Mughal said that the process to distribute the survival kits will continue and more such kits will be provided to the needy families.
