Hotelier accuses Medical Superintendent of ‘arrogance, misbehavior’
Srinagar: A hotelier from Srinagar has written to Lieutenant Governor accusing a Medical Superintendent of misbehavior and arrogance.
The owner of 127 room 4 Star Hotel, Saqib Shafat Shah in a communiqué to LG has stated that Medical Superintendent JVC SKIMS Bemina is ‘drunk with arrogance’ and she lacks human touch in every aspect.
“JVC SKIMS Bemina took our 40 rooms on rent for resident doctors. Twice I met the incumbent Medical Superintendent Dr Shafa Deva and both the time she humiliated me to the extent that I was forced to file a complaint against her,” Shah said.
“My hotel has been taken over for the present pandemic and we have been providing services to the resident doctors of SKIMS. In this connection there were some issues to be resolved. What is shocking is that Dr Shafa Deva is very rude and humiliates everyone who talks to her. Her behavior is not up to the mark. She lacks manners and doesn’t know how to deal with people,” he said adding that in exchange of good services they provide to the doctors, the MS only knows how to be discourteous, arrogant and rude.
The letter forwarded to LG GC Murmu also seeks the transfer of Dr Shafa Deva. Copies of the letter have been sent to DC Srinagar, Dr Shahid Chowdary, Principal JVC, Dr Reyaz Untoo and Advisor to LG, Baseer Ahmed Khan. (KNT)
