Covid-19: 13 recovered patients discharged from hospital in Sopore

Sopore: Doctors at SDH Sopore on Monday discharged 13 covid-19 patients from the hospital following their successful recovery, officials said here.
Block medical officer Sopore Dr. Asif Khanday said it was a satisfying moment that we have relieved 13 covid-19 patients for home quarantine as they all are recovered from the deadly covid-19 disease.
He said that these positive patients from district Baramulla were discharged Monday after their two repeated samples tested negative.
He said among thirteen, seven are males and four females who left for home. However, two minors who also tested negative remain in the hospital as their parents are quarantined here.
Meanwhile, DDC Baramulla Dr. G.N Itoo who was also present on the occasion said that it is a satisfactory moment that the hospital relieved 13 positive patients after their recovery from the novel coronavirus infection.
“The healthcare workers including doctors, nurses and other paramedic staff are rendering their services tirelessly and were playing critical roles in addressing the challenge of covid-19,” he added.
Meanwhile, six more COVID – 19 patients recovered in Anantnag, who were sent to home quarantine after their tests were found negative for the disease.
On Sunday, six COVID-19 recovered patients were sent to home quarantine taking the recoveries total to 12, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar said.
He made these remarks while congratulating the patients for their recovery while asking them to strictly follow the protocol and SOP in home quarantine, adding more recoveries are expected in the coming days.
He said that SDH Bijbehara has been designated as Special Hospital for delivery of expecting mothers from red zones, where 13 deliveries including 3 LSCs of such ladies were conducted so far.
Earlier, DC along with ADC visited walnut factory and FCI godown Mir Bazar to be augmented as quarantine centres for the people coming from other parts of the country.
