Native village of Hizb Commander witnesses frequent searches
Anantnag: A hamlet in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has been brought under siege multiple times since the past one week.
Durnu that falls in Dooru town of the Anantnag district witnessed several searches during the past few days.
Sources said that from past one week, this village was brought under siege and massive search operations were conducted several times.
Sources added that combined forces including soldiers from 19 Rashtriya Rifles, 164 Battalion CRPF and SOG Dooru not only conducted search operations but also used JCB to excavate suspected spots.
“They have dug orchards, yards and other specific spots, but found nothing objectionable.”
Sources said that Durnu is the native village of top Hizb Commnader Zubair.
A senior police officer form Dooru said that he doesn’t know anything about the Cordon and Search Operation in this village. (KNT)
