DM Anantnag visits GMC, PHC Mattan
ANANTNAG: District Magistrate Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar Friday visited Government Medical College Anantnag and PHC Mattan to take stock of the healthcare facilities put in place for the patients and to augment the facilities for combating COVID – 19. ADM Anantnag, Principal GMC, CMO, Dy. CMO and Medical Superintendent Associated Hospital GMC Anantnag accompanied him.
On the occasion, the DM asked for providing the best healthcare facilities to the patients in all the hospitals of the district, adding that round the clock attendance of the doctors and paramedical staff must be ensured as per the roster.
The DM further said that the district administration is anticipating the situation with regard to COVID – 19 and a robust mechanism is in place to tackle any kind of situation with regard to healthcare. He again appealed the people to maintain lockdown, stay home, maintain physical distance, do not pay heed to rumors and cooperate with the administration to fight COVID – 19.
