Srinagar, May 8: The first flight with over 160 students from Bangladesh os set to land in Srinagar later today, Jammu and Kashmir government spokesman Rohit Kansal tweeted early morning.

He said that more flights are to follow from next week.

“First flight with over 160 students from Bangladesh set to land in Srinagar later today. More flights next week,” he tweeted.

Kansal also said that over 33000 people stranded in various regions of the country have arrived in JK.

“Return of stranded  people picks up pace. Nearly 2800 arrived yesterday via Lakhanpur. Over 3000 students, labourers, others from Pb, HP, Chd, HY, UK expected today. Total number of returnees now over 33000. THANK YOU all for your patience and cooperation,” he tweeted.
