JK Yateem Foundation distributes ration kits, masks among needy families

Bandipora: Bandipora chapter of Jammu and Kashmir Yateem foundation on Tuesday distributed ration kits and masks among 31 needy families of different villages of Bandipora.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of the foundation said that they distributed ration kits and masks among 31 needy families in Bandipora.
He said that ration kits and masks were distributed among 18 deserving and needy families who have been hit by the continuous lockdown due to Covid-19 in Tangther village of Bandipora.
“All these families have no source of income and they have been affected most by the ongoing lockdown. We have been getting distress calls from these families. Today we along with a group of young volunteers from Bandipora provided them with ration kits and masks as well,” the spokesman said.
Pertinently, Tangther village houses around 18 families and is located about two kilometres from Athwatoo village on the foothills of Harmukh peak.
Meanwhile, the foundation also distributed ration kits and masks among 7 and 6 needy families of Athwatoo and Lawaypora villages of Bandipora.
Jammu and Kashmir Yateem foundation in collaboration with a group of young volunteers from Bandipora distributed the rations kits and masks among the needy families.
