Forces launch search operation in Sopore area

Sopore, Apr 26 : Forces on Sunday launched a cordon and search operation in new colony area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reports said.
They said that Army’s 22RR, SOG of JK police and CRPF jointly launched a search operation at New colony Sopore.
A police official said that following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, the CASO was launched.
Reports said that all entry and exit points of the area were sealed by forces and house to house searches were going on.
However, no contact was established between forces and the suspected militants as yet and search operation was going on in the area when this report was filled.
