Burglars decamp with valuables from army man’s house

Anantnag, Apr 22: Burglars broke into the house of an army soldier and decamped with valuables in absence of family members.

Sources said that burglars entered into the deserted house of a local in Seer Hamdan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and stole valuable goods.

Sources added that during the dead of the night, burglars broke the windows of the house of one Ghulam Nabi Dar at Seer Hamdan and stole the valuables. The burglars managed to escape from the spot.

The victim is a soldier who is posted at Badami Bagh Cantonment Board and lives in Srinagar along with his family.

A police official while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered and investigations have been set into motion. (KNT)
