Forces launch search operation in Sopore
Sopore: Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation in Arampora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that Army’s 22RR, SOG of police and CRPF jointly launched a search operation at Changa Mohalla in Arampora Sopore.
Police official said that following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, the CASO was launched.
Locals said that all entry and exit points of the area were sealed by forces and house to house searches were going on.
However, no contact was established between forces and the suspected militants as yet and search operation was going on in the area.
Earlier, a search operation ended on a peaceful note at Behrampora area of Rafiabad.
