20 Covid-19 patients recovered, discharged from hospitals

Srinagar: 20 persons, who were hospitalized, after testing positive for Coronavirus last month, were discharged from different hospitals on Monday, after repeatedly testing negative for the infection, they had contracted.
An official said that 20 patients were discharged from the hospital after their recovery from lethal Covid-19 infection. He added that these patients hail from different parts of Valley. These include three members of a family.
Official added that 3 patients were discharged from JVC SKIMS Bemina, 7 from Baramulla, 2 from CD Hospital and 6 were discharged from SKIMS Soura, 2 patients discharged from DH Ganderbal after recovering from COVID-19
Nodal Officer for Coronavirus at JVC SKIMS Bemina, Dr Numan Wani said that 3 members of a family, including an 8 year old girl, her mother and father who were infected from Coronavirus were discharged from the hospital. He said the family hails from Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The official added that those who were discharged have been advised strict 14 days home quarantine.
There are total 368 positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir. 55 are from Jammu while 313 are from Kashmir Valley. Bandipora tops the list with 88 positive cases where 74 are active, 11 have recovered while one has died. Srinagar has 79 positive cases with 56 active. 22 patients in Srinagar have recovered while one who actually hails from Sopore died here. (KNT)
