“As a precautionary measure both of them were subjected to go for quarantine for next two weeks,” the official said.
The duo accepted to go for quarantine despite the daughter of one among them getting married.
“Though it was difficult for me to manage my emotions, I know it has to be like that only. Someone may call it a sacrifice but it is a must for the safety of all loved ones,” the cop said when contacted.
Urging all people to restrain from moving around amid the onslaught of Coronavirus pandemic, the policeman remarked that while the virus is taking a serious toll irrespective of age, gender and religion, “people should co-operate with the authorities to contain its further spread”. (GNS)
