11 persons including Imam arrested
Bandipora: Police arrested 11 people including an Imam for assembling and offering Friday Congregational Prayers at a mosque in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Police sources said that some people assembled and offered Friday Congregational prayers at a mosque in Watrina Bandipora. People completely violated the advisory issued to contain Covid-19 infections in Valley.
Taking strong note of the incident, police booked 11 persons including an Imam and registered a formal FIR vide number 31/2020 under section 188 against the violators. (KNT)
