Reports of 7 covid-19 positive patients test negative
Srinagar: Seven confirmed cases for Covid-19 have now been declared negative. This was disclosed by Head of Department Chest Disease hospital Srinagar, Dr Naveed Shah.
He said that seven Covid-19 patients admitted in the hospital are now negative.
“The patients are in quarantine and reported negative after a fresh round of blood samples were taken. Again their samples will be taken when their quarantine period will be over,” Dr. Naveed Shah said, adding that it is a good news.
“Together we can do it,” he said, asking people not to panic but fight the deadly virus.
He also said the people who test negative for the infection will be discharged from the hospital after following proper protocol.
“Yesterday also, tests of two Covid-19 patients were found to be negative and they were discharged,” he said.
Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdary said with 7 Covid-19 positive cases successfully recovering, they are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. “We are seeing hope ahead,” he said. (KNT)
