Govt constitutes committee to examine seniority issues of KAS officers

Srinagar: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a committee to examine the issues the seniority issues of the members of Jammu and Kashmir administrative service.
The government accorded sanction to a 4-member committee to examine seniority.
As per the order, the committee comprising of four members will have to submit the report within one month. The order reads that the committee will work out the possible options for finalizing the seniority list on a normative basis.
As per the order the committee will include Hirdesh Kumar, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, J&K/Commissioner/Secretary to the government Election Department, Simrandeep Singh, IAS Secretary to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Farooq Ahmad Lone, IAS Secretary to the Government, GAD and Achal Sethi, Secretary to Movement, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs as its members.
