District Magistrate monitors screening of stuck-up travelers in Anantnag

ANANTNAG: On the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, the District Magistrate Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Wednesday facilitated movement of stuck-up Kashmir bound passengers after putting them to screening test at Lower Munda Toll Post Qazigund in strict observance of protocol.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Block Medical Officer Qazigund and Tehsildars of Doru and Qazigund.
As many as 179 passengers travelling in 18 vehicles were screened by a team of medicos before allowing them to move to different districts of the valley under proper police escort.
The travel history of the stuck-up Kashmiri passengers has been shared with the concerned District Magistrates for monitoring their home quarantine under medical SOP.
The District Magistrate himself sensitized the travellers regarding the protocol to be observed during their home quarantine and cautioned them not to violate standard protocol.
Later the DM called his counterparts of other districts to monitor the home quarantine of these people.
