Srinagar, Apr 1: Amidst the ongoing lockdown ordered by the government to prevent spread of coronavirus, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar (IPS) on Wednesday said that no passes are required for load carriers carrying essentials goods, both within the UT or even interstate.

 “No passes are required for load carriers carrying essential goods from one state to another or within the UT. However, they are not allowed to carry passengers. Driver and helpers are advised to carry letter from the vehicle owner,” IGP Kumar said.

He further said that this ensure availability of essentials uninterrupted across the regions. GNS)
