DM orders distribution of Dry Mid Day Meal, home delivery of ration
KULGAM: For containing and breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 the District Magistrate, Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat has directed the concerned departments to ensure the availability of food grains, essential commodities and services notified vide government order No.60-FSC&CA of 2020 to population at large.
The District Magistrate has ordered the AD- FSC&CA to ensure 100% home delivery of ration supplies through PDS stores of the district as per SOP which will be monitored by BDO’s with the help of PRI’s.
CEO has been ordered to ensure the distribution of dry ration of Mid Day Meals among the families of the students within 03 days without any fail.
All Tehsildar’s, TSO’s, BDO’s have been tasked to identify poor and destitute families, without source of sustenance and furnish the list along with proper authentication.
The ADDC, Kulgam has been asked to ensure pakage of 2000 packets of ration, as per the approved items for distribution among poor and destitute families.
