Except essential services all govt offices to remain closed in JK till April 14: Admin
Srinagar, Mar 25: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday decided to close all the government departments except those providing essential services across the Union Territory till April 14.
The decision was taken amid the lock down across the country in wake of deadly Coronavirus spread, spokesman for the government of Jammu and Kashmir, Rohit Kansal, tweeted.
The government departments shall remain closed till April 14, 2020. Earlier, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for lock down across India for 21 days to prevent the virus from spreading.
Though some services including media have been declared as essential services. (with inputs from KNO)
