Coronavirus scare: Kargil administration closes all educational institutions

Directs people with travel history to come forward for screening

Kargil: After fresh cases of Coronavirus in Ladakh, the Kargil administration Tuesday issued an advisory asking those people to report for check-up who have arrived from Iran before the outbreak of Coronavirus infection.
The fresh advisory reads that there may be chances that some of the passengers who have already arrived in Kargil from different foreign countries particularly, Iran, may be infected with Coronavirus. These people have been advised to turn up for check-up as of now no screening for such people has been undertaken.
The advisory has impressed upon the officials to monitor such cases in greater details and take action as per the prevailing protocol.
The advisory duly signed by District Commissioner Kargil, Baseer-ul-Haq Chowdary announces the suspension of class work in all schools, colleges and universities both public and private and closure of Anganwardi Centres till March 31. (KNT)
