Police arrests ‘LeT’ OGW in Kulgam
Kulgam, Mar 15: Police on Saturday late night claimed to have apprehended an over ground worker (OGW) working for the banned outfit Lashker e Toiba (LeT) in Malpora area of the district.
An official said that during naka check up at around 7 pm at Malpora village under police station Qazigund Kulgam, a youth was detained.
Officials identified the youth as Parvaiz Ahmad Matoo son of Manzoor Ahmad Matoo resident of Khudwani Kulgam.
He added that a cash of Rs 3,70,000 weere recovered from him and he is hardcore OGW of banned outfit LeT.
Pertinently Parvaiz is the brother of top slain LeT commander Junaid Ahmad Matoo who was killed in an encounter at Arwani in 2017. (KNO)
