NIA conducts raids in North Kashmir
One held, mobile phones, documents seized
Baramulla: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday morning conducted a raid in Pattan and Salsooa area of Baramulla district.
The team, according to sources was accompanied by police and paramilitary CRPF personnel.
The arrived at around 10 am on Saturday and conducted searches of house belonging to the house of Ghulam Muhammad Mir of Palpora Pattan and detained him at his house.
“NIA raided another house of Habib Ullah Bhat son of late Abdul Aziz Bhat resident of Saloosa Mughalpora Kreeri and seized his cell phone,” officials said.
The NIA arrested the house owner identified as Ghulam Muhammad Mir allegedly in connection with “terror funding” case.
However, it was not immediately known regarding which case the national agency has raided the premises.
Pertinently, NIA has conducted multiple raids mainly in Pulwama district in last two month regarding Lethpora attack and Ban Toll Plaza encounter. (KNO)
