School building damaged by land erosion in Kulagm village
Kulgam: A school building was damaged on Friday after land erosion took place in Gujjarpora village in Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said, adding that no causality or injury was reported during the incident.
The land erosion occurred in Gujjarpora village in Kulgam district, leaving Government School building completely damaged.
An official said that the incident has fortunately occurred at a time when no student was present in the Government Middle School (GMS) Gujjarpora.
Pertinently, the schools across Jammu and Kashmir have been closed in wake of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. (KNO)
