Grenade recovered in Baramulla village

Baramulla: Police on Friday claimed to have recovered a grenade from a stream in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that locals spotted a grenade when they were working near a stream and accordingly informed police about it.
A police officer said the grenade was spotted by some locals who were extracting sand and boulders from the Nigli Nalah at Saloosa. Soon after getting information, a team of police rushed to the spot and recovered the grenade.
The officer said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation taken up. (GNS)
