Two suspects with high viral loads quarantined at GMC Jammu, duo kept in Isolation

Jammu: Test results of two suspected Coronavirus patients have been found “high viral load cases” and have been kept in separate wards.

According to KNO, this was confirmed by spokesperson of J&K government on Twitter handler where he wrote” Test reports if the two suspected patients received. Both high viral load cases. High probability of testing positive”

Later, information department of Jammu and Kashmir tweeted “Both suspect cases kept in Isolation at GMC Jammu. Stable. All protocols being followed”.

The two suspected persons have been identified as Nargis and Amandeep Kaur. Nargis has arrived from Iran while as Amandeep Kaur, a resident of Satwari Jammu has travel history of South Korea.

A close relative of Amandeep said that Amandeep was in South Korea and reached Jammu back just a few days before and at Jammu airport he was tested and was asked to be at GMC Jammu till reports come however Amandeep managed to escape from hospital in dead of night yesterday.

He was arrested by police later and has been kept in separate ward at GMC Jammu and Doctors aren’t allowing anyone to meet him, he said.

Principal Government medical college Jammu Sonanda Raina said that patients with high probability of Coronovirus are admitted at GMC Jammu but condition of both patients is stable.

“I personally have inspected both patients, both are stable and people need not to panic and pay heed to rumours,” she told KNO, adding that the condition of both patients is being closely monitored.
