Youth killed, another injured on Sgr -Jmu highway
Ramban, Mar 07: A person was killed, while another one was injured, when their vehicle was hit by a shooting stone near Marog area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, reports said Saturday.
Official sources said that in the afternoon, a shooting stone hit a Creta Car bearing number (JK01AA-9863), which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, near Marog Ramban area, resulting in the on the spot death of one person and injuries to one another.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to nearby Hospital, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
Official identified the deceased as Waseem Azad son of Meraj Din from Munawarabad, Khayam Chowk Srinagar.
The injured has been identified as Manzoor Azad son of Ali Mohammad of Munawarabad, Khayam Chowk Srinagar. Police has taken cognizance in this regard. (KNO)
